This year we have received some funding that we would like to offer our participants that might be struggling to find the cost of this year’s October Gaitherin.

We would like to invite, those of you who do not qualify for the low income discount and also those who do but still can’t find the funds to pay the fees, to apply for this bursary.

As parents ourselves we know that sometimes it is hard to find or justify the cost of the Gaitherin for one child especially if there are more children in the family that will miss out if one child gets to go to the Gaitherin. We want the Gaitherin to be accessible to as many as we can and especially to those that we think will benefit the most from the experience.

With this in mind we have come up with an application form for funding and invite everyone to apply for it whether you are on a low income or just struggling a little bit to find the cost of the Gaitherin Week.

The application for the bursary is now open and closes on Friday 13th September with decisions being made by Monday 16th September so you have time to end your application or continue with it depending on the result of the application.

Please remember to apply for your participant to attend the Gaitherin so that they get the choices they want rather than waiting until the decision about the bursary is awarded. We will only look at one application per family.
